Hello there! I'm Arthur PEJOIANE, a video game development student in his 5th year at the IIM DIGITAL SCHOOL in Paris la Défense. I'm also currently doing a double degree at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi in the Saguenay region of Canada!
Driven by a deep passion for video games and programming, pursuing studies in this field felt like a natural choice to me.
My Work
From a technical point of view, I want to be a Tools or Gameplay Programmer. Very often in my projects, I see my team members having difficulties in their work, so I always take the time to understand their problem and find solutions with tools or organization that will save them time.
I'm Lead Developer on projects, because of my desire to organize things and take the lead so that things run smoothly for everyone.
Léo Indie Games - Association
I'd like to introduce you to LeoIndieGames, the independent video game development association on campus, which marked a significant milestone in my life and that allowed me to personally grow. I was an administrator of the association as a communication manager during the year 2021-2022 and in charge of the events for the year 2022-2023.
With this association, I've been able to organize a lot of things, such as Unity courses for our members to introduce them to the engine, video tutorials for schoolchildren, participation in the annual “Video Game Haut-de-Seine Festival”, where I won a prize in 2022 for the game Beat Polarity, and the LIG Tournament, a tournament on games 100% developed by members of the association, such as Ou est GIL? or PONGIL.
I've also organized more convivial events such as Game Jam and an integration weekend! All in all, a great experience of a lifetime.
My Passions
I have many passions that I've developed over the years, including of course video games! I'm trying more and more to discover different games, whether they're big productions or independent.
Beyond that, I enjoy hiking extensively in Canada, surrounded by majestic mountains and breathtaking landscapes. When winter arrives, I never hesitate to hit the slopes with my skis
I'm also a big fan of amusement parks, both for the thrills and the technical aspects. I take the opportunity to travel around Europe with my group of friends to discover new parks and regions with them (and also to scare them in the big roller coasters).
And finally, my little construction side with Lego or Puzzle!
